I was shocked at the humility of the Bishop. He was far more approachable than I ever expected as an outsider. Bishop Carl A. Kemme is part of the formalities yet it doesn't go to his head. If I were in such a position of authority I highly doubt I'd be as humble and level headed as he is. The Wichita Bishop Carl A. Kemme is highly emotionally intelligent. I'm glad we happened to be there at the same time. My apologies for leaving early.

Today we finally laid my sister-in-law’s ashes to rest, after losing her to Covid last November. Father Clay came to the graveside and did a simply wonderful job. We wanted to express our gratitude to him again for coming to Mulvane and giving such a thoughtful service for Shelley Howell.
